By scheduling an estimate, accepting a quote, placing an order, or otherwise engaging Miami Shades, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

All estimates provided in-home or in writing are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Pricing is based on the products selected, measurements taken on-site, motorization options, and installation complexity. Prices are subject to change due to manufacturer cost adjustments, material availability, or scope changes you request.
The estimate is not a final agreement until you sign the order or otherwise confirm in writing. Sales tax and any applicable fees will be added where required.

Custom window treatment orders typically require a deposit (commonly 50%) at the time of order, with the balance due upon installation. Specific payment terms will be documented in your written order. We accept major credit cards, ACH/bank transfers, and approved financing options.
Late payments may accrue interest at the maximum rate permitted by Florida law.
Because window treatments are custom-manufactured to your specifications, all sales are final once production has begun. Cancellations or changes must be requested in writing within 24–48 hours of order placement, before manufacturing begins. After manufacturing has started, deposits are non-refundable.
If a product arrives defective, damaged in shipping, or does not match the agreed specifications, contact us within 7 days of installation and we will work with the manufacturer to repair or replace the product at no additional cost to you.
Installation appointments are scheduled at mutually convenient times. You agree to provide reasonable access to the installation areas, ensure the work areas are clear, and disclose any wiring, structural, or HOA constraints in advance. Miami Shades is not responsible for delays caused by inaccessible work areas, undisclosed conditions, or third-party scheduling conflicts.
Products are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties (Hunter Douglas, Somfy, Lutron, Rollease Acmeda, and others). Miami Shades warrants its installation workmanship for one (1) year from the installation date against defects in workmanship under normal use. Damage caused by misuse, accidents, alterations, or third-party service is not covered. To submit a warranty claim, contact us at Info@miashades.com or (917) 609-4942.

Our installation team takes reasonable care to protect your property during installation. In the unlikely event of damage caused by our negligence, notify us within 48 hours of installation so we can remedy the issue. Miami Shades carries general liability insurance.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
For condo and high-rise installations, you are responsible for obtaining any required HOA, condo board, or building management approvals before installation. Miami Shades is happy to provide product specifications, manufacturer documentation, and installation method information to support your approval process.
All content on miashades.com — including text, photographs, logos, graphics, and design — is owned by Miami Shades or used under license, and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written permission. Manufacturer marks (Hunter Douglas, Somfy, Lutron, Rollease Acmeda, Graber, etc.) are the property of their respective owners.
You agree to use miashades.com only for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to disrupt, scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the site or its security. We reserve the right to limit or terminate access for any user who violates these terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflicts-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Before initiating any legal action, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute by contacting us in good faith.
We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent version. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
