Blind & Shade Cut-Down Service in Miami, Florida

A blind or shade that's too wide for the window is a common problem — a stock size bought off the shelf, a unit moved from another room, or a treatment inherited with the property that was never right for the opening. In many cases the answer isn't a new blind. We can cut down many blind and shade types to fit properly, keeping the unit you already have.

Not Every Type Can Be Cut—So We Check First

Whether a given unit can be cut down depends on how it is built, not on who made it. That's the first thing we check, and we check it before you commit to anything.

Send us a photo of the blind or shade including the top rail, along with the width you need it to fit, and we'll confirm whether yours is one we can cut.

All Brands, Including No-Name

We look at cut-downs on every manufacturer and on unbranded units alike. The brand is not the limiting factor here — the construction of the particular unit is.

Often Same Day

We aim to attend as soon as possible — often the same day, and always within one to two days when we're busy.

We'll Tell You If We Can't

Where a type can't be cut cleanly, we say so plainly rather than attempt it and hand back something that doesn't work or doesn't look right.

How a Cut-Down Works

Send a photo: Photograph the blind or shade including the top rail, and tell us the width of the window you need it to fit.

We confirm whether it can be cut: Free, and before anything is committed to. Some types can be cut cleanly and some cannot.

We cut and refit: The unit is cut down and re-hung so it fits the opening properly and operates as it should.

If it can't be cut: A made-to-measure replacement is the honest answer, and we make custom blinds and shades sized exactly to the opening.

What Our Customers Say

★★★★★

Motorized shades on our 32nd-floor condo paid for themselves in AC savings within a year. The whole setup syncs with Alexa and the team walked us through everything in Spanish and English.

Our Mediterranean Revival home needed shutters that respected the architecture. Composite plantation shutters look like real wood but won’t warp in our humidity. Five years and they still look new.

Solar roller shades in our oceanfront condo cut the glare without blocking the view. Salt air hasn’t damaged anything in three years. Worth every dollar.
