Shutters are built to last, which is exactly why it's worth repairing them rather than replacing them. When a shutter stops working properly it's almost always the hardware — a hinge, a tilt rod, a louver pin — rather than the panel itself. We repair shutters across Miami and South Florida, including shutters that came with the property and shutters nobody has the paperwork for.

Shutter panels themselves are durable. Hinges, tilt rods, louver tension and alignment are the things that actually go wrong, and putting those right restores the shutter without touching the panels — which are the expensive part.
Because shutter problems vary so much by how the unit was built, the honest first step is a photo. Send one and we'll tell you what's involved before anyone comes out.

A panel that sags, drops, or catches on the frame when it swings. Hinges that are loose, pulling out, or out of alignment.

Louvers that won't hold their angle and drift open or closed, and tilt rods that have come loose, detached or broken.

Panels that no longer sit flush or line up when closed, plus failed magnets, catches and other hardware.

Shutters are frequently fitted by builders or previous owners and left with no documentation at all — that's the norm rather than the exception in Miami. You don't need to know the manufacturer to ask us to look at it.
We aim to attend as soon as possible — often the same day, and always within one to two days when we're busy.

Real-wood shutters swell in South Florida humidity until they no longer fit the opening. It's the main reason we recommend composite here.
Send a photo: Photograph the shutter closed, plus a close-up of the part giving trouble — the hinge, the tilt rod, the louver that won't hold.
We tell you what it needs: What the repair involves, free, before anything is booked. If it isn't something we can put right, we say so.
We repair on site: Hinges, louvers, tilt rods, panel realignment and hardware, across our full installation radius.
If replacing: Where panels have warped badly or a frame has failed, our composite shutters are built not to warp in Miami humidity.

Motorized shades on our 32nd-floor condo paid for themselves in AC savings within a year. The whole setup syncs with Alexa and the team walked us through everything in Spanish and English.
Our Mediterranean Revival home needed shutters that respected the architecture. Composite plantation shutters look like real wood but won’t warp in our humidity. Five years and they still look new.
Solar roller shades in our oceanfront condo cut the glare without blocking the view. Salt air hasn’t damaged anything in three years. Worth every dollar.
